Slab BBQ-Slow, Low and Bangin’

Slab BBQ is an independently owned BBQ restaurant in Austin, TX. We had the pleasure of interviewing the founder, Mark Avalos, as part of a recent promotional video we filmed. The influential hip-hop and rap culture of south Texas is hard to miss when you step inside their restaurant which helped guide the theme of this short. They are the real deal when it comes to Texas BBQ.

The Glaske Wedding Trailer

One of the best weddings I've ever been to, let alone filmed. These two know how to have a good time while keepin' it classy!

Rowing Dock-Fourth of July Promo

This short promo was created for the Rowing Dock located on Town Lake in Austin, TX. The Rowing Dock is one of the hippest and well managed kayak/SUP outfitters in downtown and hired us to complete this just in time for their summer rush. They had the idea of putting a grill on a SUP so after weeks of collaboration we were able to build a custom made craft composed of two SUP's tied together with a solid plywood underbelly-strong enough to withstand any wake. We had about 1 hour to film this entire sequence before it rained cats and dogs, no joke.

SXSW 2017 Highlight Reel

Good times in Austin, TX the month of March as SXSW takes over. I brought my Canon 6D along for the ride and captured some of the weekend festivities.

"Sharks in the Deep End" - A Tribute to David Bowie

Shot on a Canon 6d and a Panasonic GH4, edited in Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2015 with FilmConvert grading added.  A special thanks to my friend Marcus Clark with Simple Cinema for his help with edits and just being a mentor overall.

A morning news parody of parking gone awry at a local community college.  Filmed on location and in studio.  My contribution included Assistant Director for the interview with a perpetrator scene and cinematographer for interior news anchor scene and outdoor scene.  The work represents our final project for the Fall 2015 semester RTF program at ACC.
