FAQs
If any of these scenarios is applicable to you, please let me know when submitting your inquiry and I will factor it into your estimate.
-
Every project is unique, requiring a customized estimate based on its scope and complexity. I offer standard rates for both photo and video work, determined by the time needed to meet the project’s objectives. During our initial consultation, I’ll gather details like product specifications, timelines, and final deliverables to estimate the required time. Within 24 hours, you'll receive a pro-forma estimate for review. Once approved, the quoted price is guaranteed, except in cases of scope changes after work begins or unforeseen challenges beyond my control.

Below is a summary of the various fee(s) I consider when estimating project costs.
*NOTE: not all of the fees noted will be applicable to every project.
-
Absolutely. I have photographed a wide variety of images during my 10 year career from weddings, portraits, & music to events and proposals. I am happy to provide relevant examples, which are not featured on my portfolio page; upon request.
-
Unfortunately not. Currently I accept checks, cash, ETF/bank transfers, or Venmo.
-
Not necessarily. My primary cost factor is time, from the estimate and concept planning to the final file delivery. A significant portion of any project is spent on set preparation and lighting. For example, if a client needs 10 images on a white background for e-commerce, I’d spend about 2 hours cleaning products, setting up the background, lighting, and taking test shots. Once the setup is ready, photographing the additional items is quicker, resulting in a lower cost per image. For smaller projects, I often advise clients to add more items or images to maximize value relative to the overall cost.
-
This depends on several factors and varies widely. Larger projects (e.g., multiple products or styles) typically take 3–4 weeks, while smaller projects (e.g., white background e-commerce) are usually completed in 1–2 weeks.
-
Absolutely! I offer a 5–10% discount for repeat clients and reduced rates for volume projects where multiple items are photographed on the same background. I'm also open to negotiating discounted rates for long-term arrangements with recurring image needs, whether weekly, monthly, or quarterly.
